Well, I would complain about turnout here, but in fact there is none to complain about. I'm waiting for you German now to speak about what we're going to do, but unless Billy shows up with the save, I don't think we'll even have a game.
Ok guys. Playing with you yesterday as fun, and a bit educational. However it seems as though I can't make it next saturday. I hav a previous engagement, what you americans would probably call a frat-party, only without the kegging and obscene behaviour. In Sweden we call it a "gasque", it often includes formalwear and a three-course dinner, complete with stageshow entertainment. The point is I can't make saturday night from 6 pm. CET. If you'd be willing to play another night I'd be happy to play, either friday or sunday works for me. Actually any day but saturday works fine since I can pretty much set my own schedule. Please make your suggestions about houserules for the Vicky part of the game too, I don't want to comment on that until I've heard what you might have decided before I joined.

Lord Orpon, we can possibly move the game to sunday instead (same time) but I'll need to hear from all the players first. Everyone please post and say if you could play then or not.
About house rules, the only one I can think of right now is no industries in colonies (anywhere you wouldnt be able to industrialise in regular Vicky, usually anywhere outside Europe). Other than that, common sense lasts a long way of course.
Also, I spoke with Marco earlier today. He said he'll consider rejoining us, though not the next session but the one after that.

How about non-european territories where I have cultural majority? Not just in one but in all the provinces. If I'm limited to my european holdings I find it strange that the british pops in the North American colonies, "our cousins", wouldn't be able to build factories.

Before the vic game starts, I think Austria should receive north German culture. It would essentially be done to preserve the situation from the Eu2 phase since there, Austria had the same culture as all of Germany and it's the way Austria expanded.
I agree with this, since the Eu2 and Vicky parts are supposed to go together, but also since all the colonial nations have had a large boost of national pops from colonies. It's not a huge deal since the N. German population is a very small (less than 6% of total pop) in Austria. Poland also needs the Lithuanian culture which it has in Eu2, or it will be hopelessly behind on state culture.
about the colonies, why don't we just configure or edit save after save so all states start as colonies, even national ones so everyone chooses wich ones to convert, main reason for these, pops cost, colonies are not costly while states are, so unproductive non-national colonies (the ones can't have factories) like India in normal Vicky games are don't become a problem rather than a profit. If i don't make myself clear, an exxample, Billy has 2 colonies in india, they have tamil or something like that as primary culture, so he can't build factories there, but as a state it starts as, he has to pay fulll pop's costs like education, when he shouldn't. Tell me what you think.

Ok I agree with the North German Culture going to Austria, colonial states being colonies, and the Sunday playing. I may be ungrounded then dont know.

I think we should edit some errors in the convertion, from my side, the major problem that i have is that the other provinces of Italy aren`t considered national when they actually be considered as national by me (TS) and by SP.
