Is it possible to mod CK2 to make it more like EU3? I was then thinking about making the game less intrigue based, and more a game where you can conquer as a nation like you can in EU3.
EU3 with CK2 skin would look absolutely lovely.

why dont you just play EU3? I think there are so many differences in game mecanics that i would be nearly impossible to do without hardcodeing it, and if thats the only option its more simple to make your own game.

I do. However, returning to EU3 last night after god knows how many hours of CK2 felt......well the map in CK is so much nicer. The scrolling in CK" is superior as well.

Yep, like all of us. The only choice is to play mods like MEIOU or wait for EU4 ...

There's a point, would it be possible to update the EU3 engine to the CK2 one in an expansion pack, without too much effort?

I realise it's a completely different engine, but Dear Esther was built on the HL2:E2 source engine, and when it was updated to the Portal 2 version, the Dear Esther dev updated the engine, and it only took a month or so. Would be awesome to play EU3 with CK2 map and speed.

Personally I don't see how anymore can prefer the CKII map, only thing posetive about it is the borders imo.

It's 3D, and pretty! Generally I like the way the realm names appear and of course the borders, just makes the game feel... More alive!
