My friend and I are trying to play Europa Universales 4 Multiplayer together, but his lobby doesnt show up when he hosts, my lobby doesnt show up for him when I host, it says no game found when we connect through name, and id, and we just cant figure out why nothings working.

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
Are you both using the same multiplayer backend? If you are both using steam, you must select the same multiplayer backend in the launch options or when starting from the play button in the steam library. If one of you is using steam and the other is uisng any other store, the steam player must choose the "nakama crossplatform multiplayer" backend.
