EU4 not wanting to open

When the launcher opens up I press play this red thing shows up and says "Failed to start the game."

I just bought the game and I want to know how to fix this.

Also when I try to open the game from the folder it says vcruntime140_1.dll is missing

This article lists the download links for the latest versions of Visual C++ Redistributable packages.

And run the x86 and x64 installers there.

That will supply the missing DLL.
