EU4 Paradox Launcher Not Working

I'm trying to play EU4 and its not working, I can get it to play with the exe in the file, but when I do that all my dlc doesn't appear, just says 'not owned. When I try to run it normally through Steam or the pic on my desktop, the Paradox Launcher V2 always fails on wizard, and says that it can't remove an old version of Paradox Launcher and to call technical support. Has anyone else had this problem? It used to work 2 years ago. I would really like to play the game with the dlc I just bought, kinda sucks.

Launcher problems can often be fixed by reinstalling the launcher:
On Windows, first use the windows uninstall function to uninstall "Paradox Launcher v2"(if it is there). And then delete the launcher directories(if they exist):

• C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/
• C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Local/Paradox Interactive/
• C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Roaming/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2/
• Documents/paradox interactive/.cpatch/
• every directory in Documents/paradox interactive/ that starts with launcher-v2

Afterwards you can start the game from steam again to reinstall the launcher.

If this doesn't help, it is probably best if you do actually contact the tech support (either in the eu4 tech support forum or the paradox support website)

I couldnt find paradox launcher v2 anywhere in my files. I uninstalled EU4 and deleted everything I could find on my computer related to EU4. Still same problem when I try reinstalled and tried to start launcher.

BTW I have a windows 10 Compter inspiron 3650

To see the AppData folder you'll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer.

Hey guys I made a work around, first i reinstalled steam then. I administer start game in files and that works now
