I wonder who is disagreeing with you post. And why.

Edgars but he is a serial liker/disliker, i don't really know why he is doing it most of the time as he does tend to answer very little.
I just made a msg about what's happening with the low number of players and he is disliking me all the same. Don't bother.

I'm sure it will be fine, what could go wrong?

French politics at its finest.

Google trad :
Did LR de Calvados member, Sébastien Leclerc, take advantage of his public mandate to favor the private interests of the family of a close collaborator? The question arises after the intervention of the parliamentarian on March 6. In a question to Labor Minister Muriel Pénicaud, Leclerc has openly called for "an end to [the] hijacking" of video game company Eugen System, whose employees have been on strike since 14 February.

He mentions strikers mobilized "to challenge elements of their employment contracts", handed over to "the ninth strike this company has been going through since the spring of 2016", organized by the young video game workers' union, which it would be, according to it, "quite possible [to] register also as anarchist political party". And to grieve:

" regret the impact that these movements have on the activity of the company Eugen Systems, an independent French company, having proven itself for twenty years in a highly competitive sector. "

Problem, Sebastien Leclerc frequents the same benches as ... the sister of the leader of Eugen Systems, Virginie Le Dressay, adviser of Calvados.

Former vice-president of the county council of the same department, Sébastien Leclerc belongs to the same political family (UDI, DVD) as Virginie Le Dressay. Do they know each other? Yes. He is a Facebook friend with the counselor of Calvados; they attended the same bodies, such as the board of directors of the departmental Fire and Rescue Service of Calvados in 2014; and marched in the same demonstrations, like that of the elected representatives of the country of Auge against the law Allur in 2015.

Is there a link of interest between them? Yes, also: Virginie Le Dressay was one of the political supporters of Sébastien Leclerc for his campaign for the 2017 elections.

According to the Rules of Professional Conduct of the National Assembly, a conflict of interest is defined as "a situation of interference between the duties of the Member and a private interest which, by its nature and intensity, can reasonably be regarded as likely to influence or seem to influence the exercise of his parliamentary functions ".

Contacted by Le Monde, neither Sébastien Leclerc, nor Virginie Le Dressay, nor Cédric Le Dressay answered our questions.

Could you please briefly explain what are those articles about?
I dont believe google translator works properly here.

Thanks in advance

They're about work conditions and demands at Eugen System regarding what's happening. They're also about how things lead people from the french game business to create a union (STJV) describing previous experiences in studios like Ubisoft or Quantic Dream. And about the words of a local french politician against the strike who is politically related to the wife's CEO.

Wow, the translated article makes more sense now.
Thanks, much appreciated!

Eugene reps is closing/locking threads and deleting posts on steam dealing with and in support of the Strikers...

Kind of makes me regret buying this game, will definitely not puchase any expansions.

Eugen keep censoring the steam forums, more posts and threads deleted for discussing the strike...
I'm the one moderating the Steam forum.
I've told at first that the forum was about the game and that discussion about the strike shall be made on other, less dedicated, forums.
Then I've warned that the next ones would be closed.
Now I'm indeed closing them.

Reddit has dedicated topic about the strike, you are free to discuss it there.

So in fact, u dont want people to talk about the problems of the company behind the produkt, on the side where u can by the product? Cause the danger of loosing all support for a produkt isend part of it?

Thats just censoriung bad press~ But like always, Eugen fights the symptoms instead of fixing there shit^^

There is no reason why you wouldnt allow the discussion also on the steam forum as well, its one of the main forums for most gamers and games.
If anything, your own forum could be "only about the game".

Removing uncomfortable discussions is a good sign something isnt right.

To be fair to eugen, they've already stated you could discuss it freely, just not on steam forum. I don't see why you're still so stuck on this. I personally don't see a problem with it because they've made their stance clear. Reddit is one of the biggest forum in the internet, and you can freely discuss it there.

Anyway though, if a strike happened to a company then it's a sign that something's not right, as a reply to your last sentence.
