I'll be there to watch over France. I talked to Crub a bit earlier and he confirmed his presence to play Uk. Since Tokern won't be there maybe Tyrant would like to take over Japan as it is his favourite country. Hopefully Outran can be back with us to handle Nat. China.
I believe I saw Fredrik in v-net this weekend; any news on him? Of course, Traks is more than welcomed to be back with Canada.

Think i will stick with spain havent played so much naval combat so i think the might of Japan could be a little to much for me to handle.... could do something unspeakable like starting a war sor something :eek:

Besides i consider the might of Spain adequate for conquering the rest of the free WORLD

As far as I have heard Fredrik is out. Permanently. He cannot reinstall the game. It is all screwed so we will have to go on without til he find the money to buy himself a decent computer :)

Well, in case Axis really wants war France better get ready by strenghtening its bonds with Canada. :) (Man, Trask you'll be busy ;) )

heya folks i'm in the tragic state of gamelessness today.... any chance you might have a spot open for an old fool?
 
late, I know, but can I join today or next week?

I have little multi-player experience, and little confidence in my military capabilities, so some minor nation that takes part in the mainland war but wont have its allies expecting it to march to Berlin would be preferable. Are there any Balkan nations left? I can be on every Tuesday, unless something completely insane happens to me/relative.
 
Durruti and Blodwen. We might need a sub but I do not know til we are in V-net.

BTW, I like the name Durruti. He is one of my favourite personalities of the spanish civil war. Read some book about long time ago as well :)

I think we have just encountered such a situation with Nat. China joining Axis. I wouldn't have minded had it been dragged into Axis as a japanese puppet, but such isn't the case. For all intent and purpose Nat. China is a democracy. I can see Japan and China make their own asian alliance, intent on kicking the "evil" europeans away, but surely not both joining willingly Axis.
It was my belief that we were aiming at a balanced game, but it now seems completely out of focus.
Along the same line the diplomatic struggles over Turkey, Persia and Finland feel wrong knowing there is no russian player.
 
I was thinking the same thing actually when I got the proposal from Nat. China. Maybe rectify it?

As for Turkey, Persia and Finland I have done nearly nothing with them. I have made Finland a bit more positive but I am gonna ask them to join until there is a winterwar.

ha, as soon as the poland head of state was gone for a few weeks strange things are happening in the world :rofl:

I have the same opinion like WW in this issue. Nat China joining Axis seems a bit odd. Even an alliance with japan is unlikely in our game cause japan forced china to give up 3 important provinces. they should hate japan :)

as war hasnt started yet maybe we could just let natty china and japan leave the alliance thus let them fight on their own for a while

While I do not like situation, I think that countries are free to choose allies.
Allies still have SU and USA as reserves, so while in hard situation, there is hope. And if Japan or Axis would use influence to get Nat.China sliders more in line with politics that they use now, I would not say a word more. No, I would. What was trigger for Nanjing massacre?
