My interpretation? Well sorry if you guys are too lazy to edit the first post with all the rules. The rules said: Leaders that died randomly will be restored. Nothing about editing only at next rehost.

Tell me John... You go to a Bar. You drink a bit. Then the barman says you have to pay 20€. Will you wait till the next week to pay?

The other week Tonio wanted to force me to drop CRC religion "because HOG was gone and he was the GM". I refused because it was not in the rules. People even agreed with me. Since there was nothing in the rules saying that the edit should have taken place only at next rehost, you should have agreed with me over this issue as well.

Lol, HOG, i cant stop laughing at this. Your only valid argument was that with Voro and Suleyman you didnt edit it in the middle of the session. Joohoo was unaware of it, and Voro died on a non-player war. So your wonderful argument cant even be taken in consideration.

Really, and if you doubt i could win Abs as you so clearly made it on the LOGs, i can make a re-run of the war, the moment i left. And i will prove that you are wrong.

I held 6 years against Marlborough with an awesome 323 (or 333 cant remember), and i could handle much more time. Abs silly excuse that WS went from 60 to 20 isnt even valid (the best WS i had was 48% btw), because i allowed him to retake the COT i had taken from him (the one near santee), because of Marly. I retreated to some province with swamps as terrain and across a river to give Marly less stats on the attack, on purpose.

If no war took place, the best you would do was get back to 1699, the moment i left. You only played 3 years, either way. It is very punitive for Spain to have lost so much income to loose a war like this. Thanks to a GM decision.

Yes, these were pagan provinces, that were very poor and only increasing stab costs so i indeed gave them away. Since i know you simpy love me, i feared you would try to make a visit to Madrid just to give me a hug. And these provinces were, and are, totaly useless. They were more of a burden to Spain tbh.

It is futile to speak with you absolut. You prefer to disrespect and insult my person, instead of facing the facts like a civilized person. I dont know why i bother speaking with you.

Anyway, i got an idea to undo this terrible mistake. Joohoo gives me the save where i left, i delete all nations, i fight the war with absolut, we play to 1702 (only spain and england), and then i copy all the results to the latest save, so that you will not miss your wonderful 3 years.

And HOG, i did not quit because i did not have what i wanted, but because you refused to follow the rules. I know americans are traumatized by terrorists (and well, we are in september so you must still have that crap on your mind), but i wasnt blackmailing anyone, nor do i look like Bin Laden, so please dont come and tell me that i am a terrorist :p . I simply asked you to edit it, you refused with whatever argument you could get, i pointed you out it was in the rules and you said it was not (lol), so i just quited out. There is nothing in EU2 that pisses me off more then people who do not follow rules. I know you are americans and americans are known for their wild west, and cowboys, but i am not a fan of either of those.

I am sorry for the good people who had their game ruined (John, Babur, Ionic, Joohoo), but i hope they understand my case and that they do not put all the blame on me, but also on HOG, since he obviously played a part on it. In fact, all the fuss was thanks to him, since he refused to follow a simple rule, and as a consequence i left.

Having a rough discussion with other forum members is barely acceptable, but mocking nations certainly is not.

I have asked an administrator to check this thread.

In the meantime, no one posts about this issue anymore.

Just to clear this up, it wasn't an unprovoked attack on the US. He was making a joke, albeit one in poor taste, about a joke I made in-game to John, which was that he knows my policy. I don't negotiate with terrorists.

So I don't think we have any need for intervention here. If Ego wants to blather on about this, he's free to do so. I've already said the matter is closed for me, and I don't think he's winning himself any new friends. Nonetheless, it's his right.
 
Although i didnt mean to insult any american in particular, nor the country itself, i am sorry if someone got offended by what i said, because it was not my intention.
 
tbh i don't see where ego insulted americans, sounds more like a excuse to warn/ban ego again, fal

'Excuses' are not necessary. EGO's behaviour at this forum is far from acceptable and the recent posts of him in this thread are yet another example of that.

Also: don't discuss moderator actions in public. It is against the rules. You knew this already.

As FAL said, if you have issues with a mod decision, PM him. If unhappy with him, PM me.

As for EGO, he knows very well what he should look out for given his track record and he did dodge a bullet there. Given his swift apology, I think EGO agrees.

Dear, dear, dear... Each time I leave you guys things are getting messed up. But I do not blame anyone, it is my fault I wasn't there. It is shame Spain lost war and so much income (I assume AI zombie caused trade losses...), but I will not cry. There is still entire century and I'm not going to let Espana be treat like a minor! Beware! The Lion comes!

Well, I didn't ban you because I thought you agreed. If that assessment was wrong, do let me know. By PM. As it says in the rules. Untill you do however, I will assume I was right after all.
