All,

Despite valiantly double teaming Gaius, we've fallen short of the mark. Joohoo can perm, Gaius and Ampo might be able to perm, but none of them could do it today.

The game will start next Tuesday at 1900 CET. I'll put up the scenario (1520) and (voluntary) AAR thread before Friday. As soon as we have one more player, I'll assign countries.

Tell your friends.
 
I was just going to ask when do we start. So if we still have a week, how about during this time we think about Power & Prestige system?

Perhaps explain to everybody who hasn't used it what it does and how?

P&P is pure classic :) My EU2 last four games were with P&P and it worked pretty well.

Six years actually comes from a faster fighter like me.

Mainly because I'm tired of seeing wars go on for twenty years because one guy can't get 99, but does have 90, and the other says the hell with you, the fields will farm themselves.

I'm not arguing. This rule is rightfull. I'm just pointing out it will "help" KJ to force peace :D Many times I lose because he was extending fighting time to 15-20 years ;)
 
i like long wars and let the field judjes who wons. The bitching around terms of peace is responsibility of those, who bitches :)

i`m against P&P. It is too unnatural by rewarding different cookies.

I did that in Vic once. I was Italy, and Sterkarm was UK. He got angry when i attacked Switzerland, and occupied my entire nation. So, since i was still making a profit somehow, and my army/navy were hidden on neutral OE territory, I just sat there and let the fields farm themselves. Eventually, when he started talking about breaking Italy back up into separate states, I left the game.... :rofl:

I'm in, but 3 requests:

1) I would like to be opted out of any artificial ranking systems, should they be adopted.

2) When assigning me a nation, don't give me something where I have to fight for my life every session... that just won't bode well for me or the game.

3)If this 11AM start time ends up not jiving for me, I would hope to not recieve a black mark, if I opt out of the game at a later date.

Come on Tonio, even EU2 can't be compared to Paris (I hate this city, but I know it is nice and worth of seeing).
