Europa Universalis III AARland choice awards! (second half)

Happy New Year to all! And what better way to end 2013 than beginning to recognize the finest AARs in AARland for the second half of 2013?

The procedure is simple: any AAR that has been updated at least once between 1 July 2013 and 31 December 2013 is eligible. You may vote for up to four AARs per thread, and the top four will receive the glory and honor of being the very best AARs of that category until the next installment of the ACAs on 1 April 2014. Voting here will continue until 31 January 2014.

Please be sure to include a link to the AAR, as well as the title and author!

This thread is only for EUIII AARs.

A strong showing for an excellent game (your humble host's very first Paradox game)! So strong, in fact, that we have a three way tie for second place!

The lucky second place winners were Range's Knights of St. John, the second chapter of magritte2's History of the World series, and Merrick Chance''s (yes, there are two apostrophes there) Lords of France, each one achieving mention on five ballots. Very different AARs, all, but each one excellent. A round of (virtual) applause for all three.

Yet, they could not compete with the juggernaut of puns that is Fryegecko's InTveresting Times, who received eight votes.

Congratulations to all the winners! Join us in April for the 2014 1st quarter ACAs, and in the meantime, won't you join us recognizing the best completed AARs in AARland (and two brand new awards as well)? (There are links in my signature!)
