Can someone please explain to me why other people on this forum can post polls (that's essentially what the OP is), or use profanity (have seen it in multiple threads), but when I try to do those things my posts get deleted by moderators? Do some forum members have special privileges?

For the longest time i preferred EU4, however the last few expansions for EU have been extremely disheartening and seem to be on a downward spiral. CK2 on the other hand has had some good recent expansions and i'm really looking forward to holy fury, so that's my favorite of the two at the moment.

CK2 is a cracking game but too much weird/buggy/dumb AI stuff can happen, especially in terms of inheritance and the republic mechanics.

Both games were very good in my opinion. CK2 is a strategy RPG mostly about royal dynasties(reason for which republics played in a weird way). EUIV is empire-builiding wargame and set in a late medieval period. I love both

There are characters and the lovely feodal politics. However, for some reason, I prefer to play Eu more.

I for one have stopped playing EU4 and stopped buying the expansions, even though I liked it better than CK2 in the past. I still play CK2 regularly.
