You don't need to reinstall it to use the no time limit mod, but I don't think your problem has anything to do with that one... No idea what it is though. :wacko:
Did you install this mod over anything else or was it a clean HoI 2 ?

aaa yes I used another mod before. If I delete old files maybe I can get a result...

If you have a big hard drive you can have different directories for each mod Just copy the original directory. My HoI2 directory :D

Like Cold evil said you can copy the installed HoI2 .dir before you put in mods so that you'll always have one un-modded version if you would want to delete a mod you'll still have the game installed, there are also ways of using moddir but I can't seem to get it to work properly... :eek:o

When I played Venice yesterday I declared war to Serbia. I attacked them and finally I was in province near their capital. Then computer start offensive on north and moved by all his divisions. Army in capital moved too so I could got capital and annexed them.

I looked to ai file.
"# PRIORITIES:

beach = 30 # Beach level 2
capital = 175 # Our capital
human_border = 155 # Ignored for allied human players
war_target = 195 # The next country targeted for attack by this AI"

I think you should change priority for capital. It must be bigger than war_target.

It didn't when I overwrote things. It ran fine for a while and then crashed. After some testing afriend of mine said it crashes when the first combat occurs.

Had to install hoi2 again to play it :)

I'll have to say I'm rather lousy at making an AI... :eek:o

one good thing to do might be to make a copy of the game (copy/paste) so you have two, and then if you want to go back to Vanilla HoI2 or install some other mod you still have a modfree hoi2.

edit: Maybe this crash would have something to do with DD having some different lines in some text files (like misc.txt) than HoI2? I'm not sure though...

just thought i'd say that i got this working fine with DD, as long as you dont use the spies.

My game with DD crashed in December 1936 for some reason, lots of war everywhere though, even that early in the game. Was shapin out to be great fun

I'm not really having the time, nor the motivation of continuing work on this scenario in the near future.. :(

But it would be nice if someone who wanted could make a new ai so it would be a little more challenging. :)

hmm its funny when you built only militia at the beginning, you can annex 6-7 nations in 3 months :rofl:
You're absolutely right...
I try not to but sometimes it just happens. ;)

There's a couple of more flaws from the ai side, like not having any prefered techs. Which will make them go and research stupid things that they won't have any or very little use of...
