Event commands?

How do I make events happen? I do the typical "event *numbers*" and it does not work. Thanks for your help.

Bring up the portrait of the character you want to affect, then type "charevent #" (where # is number of event).

Can't trigger province events afaik.

Thank you so much, instead of making a new thread can you tell me how to change my country from the Kingdom of Nubia to the Kingdom of Egypt? I have the title but I want to be Egypt.

You can trigger province-events

1. Select a province
2. Type in 'provevent #'

The only events you can't trigger are the province-spread events

If you don't want to edit the save, then grant the title king of Egypt to your heir, save and reload the game as the king of Egypt and then use the F12+die cheat to kill the king of Nubia

You cannot fire province_x_province events though. Don't even try to fire them, they will crash the game.
