Event-driven redeployments detach leaders from their units?

Playing Germany - when the event to give Eastern Poland to the Soviets fires and any units go to the redeployment pool they lose their leaders. Not a major issue and I dont know how many such events exist to make it worth fixing ....

This is the case since HoI2 but when the units get back on the map, they´ll get their assigned Leaders back

... but they didn't!! Went back and checked a save game - mid-October and I had deployed them to the Belgium border and they were all sitting there leaderless .... (obviously they were still all off celebrating their Polish victory ... must have been some night out )
