I've had some ideas for events. Suppose that the Kingdom of Jerusalem has the "we've lost the kingdom!" event fire before, say, 1453. I think they should be able to ask the major players in Europe (Hungary, Burgundy, TO, perhaps Savoy) on one final crusade, with the A choice being to ask them and the B choice being to refuse to ask, which will be switched after 1453. The reactions from Burgundy and Savoy would be to ask Genoa to buy some ships from them, resulting in a loss of cash for them, giving Jerusalem ships by triggered event. They should also choose to send troops, the more troops they choose to send (they get a choice of like 40,000 troops, 100,000 troops or none) the higher the revoltrisk the Kaliphate gets in Judea and the other former KoJ provinces...If one of these provinces becomes rebel controlled, the Kaliphate must cede it to the KoJ, who will get an event "such and such is captured, Burgundian/Hungarian/whatever troops are pouring in" and get a large number of troops in that province to fight the Kaliphate. If the Kingdom is reconquered, either by rebel troops capturing land or KoJ troops doing it, they should be able to restore the capital to Judea and continue fighting the Kaliphate. However, after the war is over, Jerusalem experiences massive troop desertions as troops go home to Europe.
There could also be a "secure an alliance and attack!" event for Syria, much like the events for Porto, Asturias and Leon.
