I hope that if they do make a move to more C++ based event scripting, that they make full use of the ability to modify every object in the game and to be able to use any value in the entire game as a trigger for events. I dont know how many times I have wanted to code events for EU2 that involved BB values, or to change province goods via event, or to set events that resize loan values based on tax income.
