Just a quick question what is being added in .40 release as far as events go? And of course I know that this is a Second World War game, but are any cold war events being added etc? To maybe flesh out the Post-war?
Also, dumb question so dunno if anyone knows but is there a list of Events and what they are called for CORE's current release or Vanilla? Just curious since whenever I play Hearts of Iron both with mods and Vanilla, I can never seem to get historical games... like ever. So maybe I can manual fire those events.
Something dumb always happens, like Republican Spain winning the Spanish Civil War, Or China losing to the Japanese (Super psyked that Core .40 is supposed to fix that), and of course Barbarossa just going totally on the german side.
Even with WiF mod I have problems, like in my current game I was yugoslavia and Italy completely failed in defending North Africa against the british, which makes sense, but then all the sudden UK lands like 30 Divisons in Italy and pushes them all north to the Gothic Line... in 1940!
Ok, well that's another mod anyways you get the idea of why I want to know the event numbers so I can fire some when things are getting too screwy.
One last thing about the AI, has the pacific war been improved at all? Or are the militaries of the US and Japan still stuck in retardo mode?
