Every time I click on my profile or notifications, the drop-down automatically closes

Every time I attempt to click on my profile, mail, or notification bell at the top right of the screen in the paradox forums, it automatically closes after a second. This happens whether I keep my mouse on it or not. I did not have this issue before, but this randomly started occurring recently.

To access my own profile, I basically need to race and click before the menu closes itself. I've already cleared my cookies for the website, checked the settings, and logged in and out and the problem still persists. It's driving me crazy. This only happens on my PC, my laptop is unaffected by this issue.

I would really appreciate some help on how to solve this, thank you.

Hi, thanks for replying. After you asked trhis, I checked and the issue does not occur in different browsers or when in incognito mode. I am using google chrome. Switching my google account does not fix the issue. However, this helped me realize perhaps it was my google extensions once it I realized the issue did not occur on other browsers.

it turns out the issue was the Malware Bytes anti-virus extension blocking the menus via their "Ads/Trackers" blocking protection for this site. Turning off this protection for the site fixed the issue.
