Good morning sexy people. I took 3 bars of zanex and a few valium and partied and on the sand last night... I am suprised I got up. Don't expect a good show from me but I am here.

For example "Sir Thomas Gresham's Currency Reform" for England, giving -10 inflation and "Timar Crisis" for Ottoman Empire.
Since my Elizabeth event has as it's trigger the need for another (earlier) event to fire (which it did in-game, I'm sure I can prove that), and this "business" was fecking around with the events, the conclusion is that the trigger, while really being fulfilled, was not so.
What bothers me more, however, is that we have heard nothing from anybody about this event-firing? Somebody must have done it, and it is sure as hell not me. So, who did it, and why? And how do we solve the issues it has created?

Well I have not opened the save and we have never used my save game anyway so I fail to see how I could have done this. But I think that it is only fair that the events for mats are manually fired. I am not exactly sure I understand what Mat is saying caused this. Either way I think there is a simple solution. Just fire the events.
These are all the events that are recorded in the log. All triggered same day. As Sorel crashed last session, and the Spanish save was used, when the save was loaded, all these events triggered.

Short of the problems mentioned above this session was very fun. The Ottoman Empire picked a horrible session to get ghosted. Almost caught up in tech and with twice the income of any other nation Spain is investing in the future. Expensive expeditions have been made to capture rich Asian CoTs, the military is being built to supply limit and the navy is to double in capacity. Friendly in Europe and untouchable in her colonies Spain's Golden Age are in full swing.
I think what Mats was saying is that the save game was opened and then saved. That would have meant all those events fire with no one playing them. Then again I am probably wrong. And if anyone is cheating it is you Wari! Now go take something that I want so I can have a reason to fight you :wacko:
