Hi all, I modded the Port building, making it city-only, and giving settlements a different one (fishing port). Problem is: at game start there are a lot of "normal" ports in settlements that I can't even delete and still count for building number limit.

Do I have to manually replace them for all territories in game files? Which files do I have to modify?

Thanks in advance.

Ok lads, I figured it out: make a copy of game/start/provinces folder in your mod.

Open ALL files in Notepad.txt

Use the "find and substitute" function to find&change

port_building=1
province_rank="settlement"

into just
province_rank="settlement"

Substitute among ALL files, save them all, done. This trick cancels out all ports in the map except the ones located in a city.
