Experience in 1.05c MP games

What kind of skill levels are you other players getting in MP games with the new experience system in 1.05c? In our current game, after about 1 year of full combat as the Germans, I have had Guderian become a lvl 5 FM with 45 exp, and Guderian also a lvl 5 FM with 10 exp, and von Kleist is a lvl 4 FM with 63 exp. From my experience, air leaders that command fighters have a hard time gaining exp. I dont know about naval leaders that much, but Grand Admiral Raeder has managed to get 20 exp from just a few minor battles in the Baltic sea. On the whole, the new system is a bit nicer, since in my older games, von Manstein usually had around 10 experience (and 0 levels gained) after several years of very bloody fighting.

Hi, i've had similar results.
Wavell has reached lvl 7 against the japs in a 36 start but my air and naval leaders are crawling along.

i made the experience that you can get with your 3-4 best fms even only as exp force in the spanish civil war one point or at least 50+ exp points up.

for tact.bomber generals its also nice, but not as mauch as land generals.

the others are almost the same ( little) exp gain than before 1.05c

Has anybody been able to gain skill levels with naval leaders? I think that with the new 1.05c minimum naval battle durations it would not be totally impossible to gain levels....

Is anybody having the same problem as me with generals not showing any increase in exp until you reload the game?

Yes, leaders do not show gained experience (or gained skill levels) during the game. These are showed first when you re-load the game. From what I can remember, this is the way it has always been in MP.

About the exp and reloads

I always find that when i am the host my leaders gain their experience immediately and don't have to wait for reloads.
Maybe this is the reward for hosting. Hehe.
