Exploit- no debt if you lose your primary title

Playing as Duchy of Swabia, I gained several other ducal titles, then lost Swabia to the Duchy of Bavaria. In doing so, I eliminated nearly 2000 ducats worth of debt, and now I can't go below 0, no matter what events I get or how many regiments I send overseas.

I think this has something to do with how the game treats the AI's debt. A few of my message settings seem to have been reset as well.

Im only on gut feeling here, but did you save/reload? I seem to recall the ai doesnt go below 0 (though where I read that, I cannot remember, or even if it applies for dv), which suggest that you are being treated as an ai

Correct. If your main title changes (either by rising in rank, or by losing your main title) you are treated as the AI until you reload.
