it looks like genetic engineering is a bit simple and uplifting a bit useless, so i thought that a mod that combines the 2 would be cool.

the idea is to add add a new tech type called genetic design as a sub tree of the biology one.
as researching derbies unlocks weapon, uplifting will unlocks the advanced genetic design one.

this techs will include:
-living ships components.
-living star base modules.
-living planetary buildings.
-new traits that can be used when manipulating species that cannot normally be accessed.

i'll add an AI type that does this kind of stuff, a fallen empire that hate this kind of stuff, an end game crisis related to bio-morphs , and a bunch of events.

all this stuff look pretty simple to do, i hope i'll will be able to create it quickly.
