Factories dont produce anything

I am playing as Prussia. I recently took Holstein and decided to build factories there. I built a fabric factory, a clipper convoy, a fertilizer, and an ammunition factory. They all have 5 workers and should be runing a near full efficency (a couple danish pops in there). Yet they all produce 0.00 a day and are loosing me money. Ive saved and restarted etc, but nothing seems to do it.

Has anyone come across this before? Solutions/suggestions?

whats your transport efficiency?
do you have enough convois?

if you dont, and holstein is not connected to your mainland, you wont get any good from there.

You probably don't have the necessary resources to run them.

I have no railroads yet, and i dont know how to make more convoys?

I know I have enough resources because 1)I have a stockpile of them and 2)I have the same factories running in other states that are running wthout a problem.

buy some clippers, goto overall prussia screen, you will see 2 ships ( a clipper and a streamer) at the bottom of the left hand window under the provinces.. click to adjust as needed.. or leave to computer control, it will tell you however how many you need
You likely have enough in your stockpile, just no transportation to get it from the stockpile to keil.. alternatively just conquer hannover.

Ill go look at my convoys in a minute. I didnt realise that Vicky really even had convoys. I knew they were in HoI but I thought they had basically been phased out. Guess not. thanks

Yeah it was my convoys. It took awhile before I finally made a surplus of them, but now that I have them the factories are running as they should. Thanks
