They're around in later start dates - the Fey'ri start showing up in 1366 and are fully fledged in 1372, for example. Just roll the clock forward a bit and see how things change. (They don't currently show up by event, though, so if you already started a game in 1360, there won't be a Fey'ri invasion later. We're currently working on story events of that sort, so a future version may feature them.)
Thats brilliant!!! Thanks! (not that I want to marry into that family and conquer myth drannor but.. also i do.)
And as of the latest version, there is an event to spawn Fey'ri if you start before their canon arrival!

For all you fans of Drizzt's novel, Artemis Entreri and Jarlaxle are now in the mod. They also have their magical goodies, and so do Drizzt, Wulfgar and several other important characters.

Is there a dynamic to forge magical artifacts if you're a magic user?
Right now, the vanilla search for a smith decisions is still unaltered (although some vanilla weapons and armors have been slightly renamed to resemble D&D magic items more closely).

The bulk of the new items (there's more than 70 of them) are obtainable in the following means:
- raiding, with the old "+2 axe" and "strange chest" events being completely revamped;
- the search for artifact event chain, which has been modified to be twice as likely to happen for non-raiding religions.
- stealing/inheriting existing items, Elminster for instance has his unique sword.

Are the portraits for the elves final? No offense, but I find them to be kind of... well... ugly. The only exception are the Drow portraits, who happen to be quite beautiful. Perhaps too samey, but very beautiful. The other elven faces really stand out in a bad way when compared to them.

Guess it's all subjective. I thought the elves looked great, although I noticed in some odd instances that the child portraits for the elves sometimes didn't age up to 'real' portraits after they hit 16.

Thank you! That's really heartening to hear.

Of the issues you mention, we've already fixed this one for the next version:

We're working on these ones right now:

We're working out what to do about these ones:

And these are issues that we haven't really given consideration yet:

In particular, this is the first I've heard of the werewolf issue. Do you know where it spread from?

Many thanks,

I'm a couple hours into a game playing as chief revjak of the elk tribe north of the spine of the world. I conquered The Rift who was led by the Coldscales who were some type of dragonkin. There needs to be some kind of modifier that lessens the negative effects of opinion from existing vassals of tyrannical actions towards newly conquered vassals for one, and for two, there should be a lower negative effect if the subject is not the same race.

I know it sounds not nice, but it didnt seem right that my entire council started to hate me for clearing out some dragonkin. We are barbarians!

Anyway, it would be nice to see how I can mitigate this.

Thanks. Great mod.

Also, I am really loving the mod, it's very immersive and in depth and I cant stop playing it.
I was wondering though, if anyone has had trouble fighting the giant nations? I tried to take on the ice giants of Lonefang and got completely steamrolled.

Out of curiosity I reloaded and created an army 10x the size of the giant army and still got completely crushed. My commanders have a martial of about 15 and the giant commander has one of 18. I'm just not sure it makes that big of difference.
I'm asking because I haven't really had this problem with any other nation other than the giants.

Thanks again!

Try making two armies. Time it so that once your first army starts to lose moral your second group jumps in and boosts them to victory.

I just want to say thank you for this awesome mod, which combines some of my favorite games - to give you all the moral support I can give you as a fan who realy is very thankful that you continue the work at this mod.

Yeah, downloads are low since CK3 dropped but I hope you know are still people v excited for next version of the mod and currently busy playing the current one!

I've quite enjoyed this mod, but I've noticed that the updates have been getting less frequent. I'm hoping that's because of a huge update being made, but I don't have High Hopes.
I would hope you continue, it's one of my favourite mods!

You may renew your hopes.

We are working on version 0.4, which will include a substantial map update and a big religion overhaul, as well as the continuing gradual expansion of the societies and class mechanics.

Love the setting, love the work you guys put in. However, please, for the love of all that is holy, do SOMETHING about mixed race marriages. My newly instated human vassals of Neverwinter woods and Mt Hotenow keep marrying giants and orcs.

We have no control over who the AI decides to marry, it is hardcoded.

The forthcoming religion rework will have some effect on the rate of mixed marriages, I believe, but we cannot prevent them (and don't want to).

Giants armies are currently about x5 stronger than regular armies of the same size.
