"Failed to Find Game" MP-connection Issue

I get the above error message whenever trying to join anyone's MP game in either EU II or HoI II. Despite following the firewall (which has been turned off) and the router (which was DMZed) instructions already listed, I get the same message. I have no idea what else to do and have been unable to connect to any game, whether through V-Net or direct IP connection.

I am almost 100% convinced that it isn't a router problem as I was unable to connect to the games even before I got the router installed.

Anyone have any further steps I can take?

Is it a cannot find game error or a version error?

With the connection error I would try reinstalling the game and making a mnual firewall expception even i the firewall is turned off. Worked for me once.
