The mission briefing before the first battle of Drest the Chosen:
“Gather an army of spirits, and fight your way to the stone circle where you can return to the mortal lands.”
It means that you have to go to the green sign (arrow) after you killed the whole sidhe army. You can’t go into the stone circle because it’s an inaccessible area.

About the hit points your hero is losing:
I’ve never encountered this problem in my game neither did our testers and designers. Could you describe your battle step by step, please? Thanks.

I have this same problem as well. The battle would begin as normal, with Drest taking control of an archer ghost and a melee ghost, starting under the Thundertrap. I play the game normally, beating down units, and gathering ghosts, heading under thundertraps to keep the sunlight from burning them up. But as I was waiting for dusk under the second thundertrap, I noticed that my units start to deplete in health. Now at first, I thought it was because archers were placed on the map, so I glanced around a bit, and I saw no archers. If there were any, they were probably hidden under the nearby trees and foliage. So I turned on highlight arrows just to make sure I could find where they were hitting me from at least, and I didn't see a single arrow fly at my guys and they were still losing health. UNDER the thundertrap. I honestly have no idea what is going on. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Hm, it’s interesting. I’ve never encountered this problem. If your units are under fire, you can see a red, blood-like mark on the GUI, on your unit icon. You will see a similar mark when they are suffering damages from the sunlight (when they are in flames). Did you see these marks?

As a matter of fact, it didn't. If you want, I can provide a video of this, although it will be quite laggy.

It would be extremely helpful if you could make a video of this issue - it doesn't matter if it's laggy.
Many thanks for your help.

Here is the quick version, just for proof that this is indeed happening.

I will have unabridged version of the battle leading up to that bug, for replicating purposes, will take a while to upload though.

Thanks for the video. Two things that I noticed at once - you said you used the Dominate Soul spell. If you read the description of the spell, every time you use it, your hero will lose 40% of his current HP immediately. If you used it several times - which I suppose as you have almost no mana points left - without healing him on one of the light-green healing spots called "Blessed Ground" the HP went quite low for this reason.

Although that's an immediate HP loss, and it's not depleting your HP continuously. BUT, if you check, you are standing at a Thundertrap location owned by the enemy. This location grants the owner a spell, called Searing Shackles, which doesn't let you move for a while and it's also continuously depleting your health.

There's one thing I don't understand though - I have not seen enemy units nearby. (Have you checked the forest?) There should be an enemy unit around as the bar indicating that you strated to occupy the location did not appear. That means either that the enemy is there or that you found a bug here about not starting the occupation.

It could be either one, and I do remember scouting the area to make sure I wasn't being attacked from anywhere, and their was nobody there. And even then, I still couldn't capture it. I don't know where they were hiding, if they were around at all.

Is there any solution to this bug as yet? I am definitely having the same problems as MetaArmigata, whereby on Drest's first mission his unit starts randomly suffering damage without any indication of spells or arrows hitting him.

Are you sure this is a bug?

If hes losing health during the DAY phase of play then thats normal. You will need to cast one of his spells against a unit (preferbly an enemy unit) in order to steal health points from them and transfer them to him. Make sure to use the blue Mana pools to replenish his mana enough so he can cast them where and when necessary.
