Having trouble getting across the piece of land that flips over in level six of Adventure. I have tried it dozens of times now but I always randomly fall through the ground, sometimes right away, sometimes near the middle. Once I almost got to the stairs. Is there some trick to this? None of the walkthroughs I have looked at consider it difficult, So I think there is something wrong.

Still falling through the land. It's like a huge area of the platform is not really there. I am not falling off the edge, but actually get to run a bit before I fall through a large invisible hole when the land is nearly level.

This problem usually occurs, if your character moves too fast.
For example if you use the rogue robe with haste. Or Kinfe of Counterstriking + Haste.
Should work if you are slow enough.

That was it. I was just using haste, though. No special items. Once I left haste out it was doddle.
