TURN 8 UPDATE #3
ENCLAVE
Enclave is decided not to take any risk in case of an hostile action against them, and the recent Brotherhood expansionism just reinforces the feeling that Enclave´s bases should be upgraded and reinforced. Using the same technology that allowed them to build their secret bunkers, some officers are sent to the Chesapeake Bay to start the construction.
After some weeks, they find a very suitable place to start the project, and using a natural cave as basis and some materials gathered all along the last years of eastern expansion, the new Cheasapeake Subterranean Base is finished and the complex is inaugurated by Autumn himself
(new base for Enclave).
This is not the only thing that Enclave has learnt from the recent Brotherhood actions, and a similar Power Armor investigation project is about to be started. Enclave knew about the existence of the T51-b Power Armor since long ago, but never considered necessary to mass produce it as their forces were considered the best of the Wastelands. However, now that the Scouts can be equipped with such technology, Enclave will also try to develop their own T51b assembly line
(2 more turn orders required), although the newly arrived Elite units are still equipped with the somehow obsolete t45 version
(+1 Elite Scout Division).
However, Enclave has also its own ideas, and although a strange project related with some satellite tower inside the Adams base is cancelled due to lack of the huge amount of resources that would be needed, they develop a portable water purifier based upon the Project purity schemes, that will be carried by their soldiers and allow them to properly quench their thirst all over America without the risk of irradiation
(Enclave troops supply capacity and limit increased).
GREAT KHANS
After the disastrous attack against Caesar´s forces, Papa Khan fears the Roman counterattack, and so he orders to use all available resources from New Reno and Nellis to create another Motorized Division capable of arriving to the frontline in a short time notice. However, most men have been already sent to the war theatre, and the Khans feel forced to hire mercenaries to drive their new vehicles.
However, a lack of proper planning and a correct census does not let the Khan leaders realize that most of the hired men are former hitmen from New Reno´s families, and as soon as they earn their first payment they abandon the city and even dare to store the first produced desert buggies.
At least the military of the Great Khans keeps improving, and while a new Artillery brigade is developed at Nellis AFB and is available for orders now
(+1 Artillery), the best Khan mechanics come up with a solution for the lack of punch of the Khans non-mobile divisions: the creation of some Mechanized divisions, that hopefully will combine a strong armor with the mobility of their Motorized divisions. In words of Papa Khan himself, such divisions will “make a deathclaw piss itself”…time will tell if he was right or not
(Mech project started, need 3 turn orders).
RAIDERS
Although el Zorro made clear that he no longer supports the Raiders, it is clear that not all of his officers and former leaders think the same. Using their leftover caps, the raiders manage to bribe some of El Zorro´s commanders, and even though they do not manage to make them rejoin the raiders and declare war to El Zorro, they promise to the raiders that their safety will be guaranteed all over Mexico.
So, in spite that El Zorro and the Mexican Government have finally signed a truce and are now starting together, the raiders will still be able to conduct military operations in Mexican soil. The question is…will it be too late for them?
