Also if you are not aware of it, you can run programs in winXP or Vista modes if they don't work in Win7. That sometimes helps and can make older programs work on Win7.

Yeah - I initially tried compatibility mode for the older versions, but they weren't happy with that sadly. :(
 
Hello,

Have you tried running it as an administrator? A friend of mine has the game and also this genealogy software and I remember that's how I made it work for him.
 
Yeah, it was running as admin. I think it's the fact that the game is modded that's causing the issue. The software itself runs - it's just when it goes to do the extract that it falls over (I think it's some kind of "range out of bounds" error which seems to suggest that the data set is outwith some parameters hard coded into the software).
 
Hi, I had a recent run at my friends'. I played his game for several hours. Are you sure that all the persons have correct details for your dinasty? I don't know if there are utilities to check this, but maybe there are some bad informations in your family tree. My friend as an improvement pack ala VIP for Victoria.
