Steam Deck's security model supports code modding, idk if CO will offer code modding on Steam Deck though.

It shared overall modding. It that is allowed on Steamdeck - you will see all script modifications in there.

Steam Deck doesn't have a mandatory DEP policy, unlike, say Xbox.
All PC games can be played on Steam Deck, without any further tricks.
Expect Steam Deck modding to be identical to PC modding.
