fatal error: could not initialize video

Hi,

Just bought CK and DV off of gamersgate, download and install went fine. However whenever I run the game the intro video plays then the screen goes black and I get the error message: fatal error: could not initialize video do you want to continue? there are three options; ignore, retry and abort. Either one causes a ctd, I've tried to rename the avi folder but that just causes the crash as soon as I start the game. Any solutions would be most welcome as the game looks awesome.

Rename the avi-folder to avi.old or something else.

heres's what I've tried so far:

renamed avi folder, renamed music folder, set monitor resolution to 800x600, updated all drivers.
I did think that it could be cos I'm trying to run this on a net book so I guess that could be it but it beats all of the specs listed on the website, for completeness:
atom N270 processor
1GB RAM
OS: XP
Graphics: integrated

I just checked the website again and it mentions, '4 Mb Video Card DirectX Compatible' I can't imagine mines weaker than this but, is it possible?

Thanks, that's done the job nicely. Thing is I bought this net book so I could work whilst on the road, I really shouldn't be playing games on it
