when the game starts I get the following message:
Failed to open audio output device: "No available audio device"
I have a Realtek sound card with the latest driver version. I tried with another driver version and the error is the same. Any solution?
Thanks

I've seen this before with realtek drivers and various games. Try uninstalling the audio driver entirely and reboot. Windows will detect a device with no driver and install one; accept that and see if that helps.

Good luck!

Just too add,
If you built your machine, always get the realtek driver from your motherboard manufacturer. If OEM/purchased, get it from the OEM. The drivers from realtek themselves is just a base driver and if indeed does work, you usually lose a considerable amount of functionality and features (DTS, etc).

Hi, thanks for replying. I install the official driver from the manufacturer and the result is the same. The motherboard I have is Asus ROG Strix X570-E Gaming. I updated the bios to the latest version too.

Strange, I am running the same chipset and also Asus board. For reasons other than your sound issue, I don't recommend using the latest BIOS (2812) as it has several notable memory timing issues with it and suggest you revert back to 2802.

Hi, I was using version 2802 before but the problem is the same. If that is strange because it is the only game that presents me with this sound error. The game works fine but without sound. I have tried different drivers. I also tested in safe mode and 32bit legacy mode, I suppose it will be a bug and I hope it can be fixed in the future. Thanks for the help

It's certainly a bug, the question is in what :) I very much doubt it's in the game itself as RealTek sound drivers are very common indeed, we'd have lots of reports of it!

I think that it is a bug from the game, not from realtek. I have hundreds and hundreds of games and it is the first time that I have encountered this error in a game. Perhaps the chipset of this model of Realtek card is not properly supported. I hope that in the future it can be solved. It's a shame to have to play without sound. It loses a bit of the grace of this original game. If I can help you solve it, I would be happy to do so.

Highly unlikely because I have the same realtek chip and chipset. Are you running armory crate by chance? Also, remove all of the sound drivers and see what windows installs. Armory crate is bad mojo, causes all sorts of issues for a vast lot of people.

Hello, I use the armory crate. I use it mainly for the Aura effect. I know the application is not good but I have no intention of uninstalling it. I will wait to see if in the future they release an update of the game. At the moment I uninstalled the game. I will give it another chance in the future. As I said before, the problem only happens to me in this game. If the sound failed me in the other games I would be concerned, but as I said it only fails in this one. Thanks for the help
