Hello everyone! We're pleased to share that the issue causing our delay of Fate of Iberia has been resolved and that we have a new release date! Fate of Iberia for Console Edition will be releasing on December 5th.

If you haven't already seen it, then check out our announcement trailer for Fate of Iberia below.

We apologize again for the delay; we'll see you in Iberia on December 5th!

[Original post]

During the course of certification and preparation for the release of Fate of Iberia: Console Edition, we discovered a critical issue that requires more fixing and testing. In light of this, we have chosen to delay the release of Fate of Iberia in order to focus on addressing this issue.
At this time, we do not have a new release date to share but we are aiming to resolve the problem and deliver Fate of Iberia to our console players in the upcoming weeks.

We apologize for the delay and frustration it causes, but we believe this choice was necessary to ensure a high-quality update and positive experience for our players.

Honestly pathetic at this point, the game is bugged beyond any recognition and Paradox don't seem to care at all. It's so blatant that Lab42 can't handle the port, either kick them off of it or give them the help they need. Stellaris console port was fantastic, yet Ck3 has been non-stop failure after failure. It's all an elaborate joke surely

Can you at least confirm the patch will fix the save game bug that makes this unplayable?

I have no problem waiting if so, but I have to say if this DLC comes out without addressing the most important issue to console players, then this could be the end of my journey here.

If that bug isn't fix on all platforms with Fate of Iberia I'm out too, is an absolute insult for console players that payed for this game.

Of course Lab42 has dropped the ball again, they are an incompetent company, why Paradox hasn't removed them yet is beyond me. Each update they have released increasingly breaks the game. Remove Lab42 because they clearly cannot handle the workload.

well ... at least it looks like this time they actually tested it before releasing it, something they obviously didn't think off before releasing royal court.

And since they also give us a heads up it looks like they changed from being completely silent to give us some information.

I'm willing to give PDX the benefit of the doubt and we'll see how this evolves. Maybe they actually care for console and we see some needed changes, or it stays a downward spiral ... i guess time will tell.

I think PDX also knows the clock is ticking, not only for this port, but every potential game that may get a port to consoles in the future depends on how they resolve the current issues of this game: i for one will remember this episode when a new PDX game becomes available on console, as for now i will not buy anything PDX related on console, it's up to them to change my view on them.

Why are lab42 still in charge of console development? They need replacing asap, clearly have no idea what they're doing. The save game bug has persisted for months and still no sign of any improvement, maybe by this time next year it'll be fixed

Please kick lab 42 off of this project. They clearly are incompetent and don't know what they are doing. The state of the console port is atrocious and you should be ashamed. Not surprised since lab 42 can barely develop mobile games. Not buying any paradox product until you right the wrongs on the console version of the game.

Paradox really needs some changes in managing their console product line... It is clear this is a failure that should interrogate everyone involved from supplier/3rd party managers to business leaders, but since RC it seems no lessons were learnt, milking the cow will have a bitter end of real root causes of repeated failure are not addressed.

The fact that I had to search the forums to find this out is ridiculous - it's not on the PS5, your main website or your twitter accounts. I can't even continue on with my current save while I wait because it crashes every time I try and save the game.

I'm starting to think that they don't even read these messages or anything posted in the console subforum. Months ago they apologized for the lack of communication with the console community and promised to maintain a constant flow of information about the status of the development of the dlc and updates, they have taken us for fools.

This is a real shame and you should return the money to all of us who bought the royal edition on the first day. We don't trust you anymore because it's clear you have no idea what you're doing.
Well I allready tried it years ago with the first delays but they PS store was not giving any money back, we might have a chance if we for example all file in a complaint a t the same time, I mean if they receive like 100 request at exactly the same time they might check it out.
