Hello, I made a uv map for my model within 3DS Max and when I go to export the FBX file and click Embed Media under the options it is not reading it. I open the FBX file in a preview program and the model stays white for some reason. I've looked at numerous tutorials and read posts all over the internet and can't find my solution. Could someone please help? Thanks

This "embed media", is it supposed to include the texture ine the model ?? Because that's not how you should do it. You should have the fbx file and your texture file.

Well From all the videos I watched on how to do it.. people just click the Checkbox for embed media.

Ok well, I know how to save my UVmap from Photoshop then. How would I go about getting the FBX file to read it after exporting from 3DS Max?

I’ve had no problems, take a look at the wiki re: naming conventions, and Zed68 is right … you need the fbx and texture files for diff/spec/norm etc

Had a quick play around with importing today: This is how it turned out in the asset editor with diffuse map only.
