Hello everyone,

I've recently decided that I want to try a game playing as the republic of White Harbor, but I can't figure out any way to switch my government type. I thought there used to be a law you could change in previous versions, but since the mod has switched over to Conclave I no longer see it.

Also, since you can't revoke barony level holdings, the trick to make your son rebel and abdicate to him to turn into a MR is not possible. I could console around and have the Lord Paramount revoke White Harbor and give it to a Lord Mayor, but before i go to that trouble, is there any way I'm missing?

You could just console "set_government merchant_republic_government [charid]". However, make sure to switch to another character while doing so, and wait a day before switching back, otherwise you'll game over.

Thanks for the replies everyone!
