Trying to play When the World Stopped Making Sense and I'm facing a revolt literally every three years in a country with fewer than a dozen provinces and was wondering where I could find the file to change rebellion chances so I can actually play the mod and not ragequit after fighting the 39th peasant uprising.

Two ways: you can lower the TOG_REVOLT_CHANCE_MOD in common\defines.

Otherwise, provincial revolts depend on the revolt chance in that specific province. Without overhauling the entire's mod setup for those modifiers, you could add a chance that events that create provincial revolts happen instead do nothing. I don't know about that mod's specifics, but vanilla's are inside rebel_events_the_old_gods.txt. By putting random < 33 inside the trugger = {} of the first event of each event chain, all provincial revolts would be 3 times less likely to happen.

Hopefully that helps you along.
