Makes it easier to find if you have a system. I put gov's in provinces in order of population. You can use the archives to find population order of your provinces. There are other ways you could order, obviously.

Geographical planning works ... it only falls apart once you have colonial cities coming through all over the shop. An upgrades map has been proposed (often :D ) on the Wish List.

An upgraded "book" with all the stats and stuff would be gladly appreciated. If only it could tell which provinces had mayors, could receive upgrades in terms of fortresses and people. :)

Geographical planning works reasonably well for me. Would definitely like an easier option though.

That would be a really good thing!

I've seen that in other games, Civ maybe?

Geographical planning is very easy in one province countries :D

Provided you can remember which one province your country is.

"Dammit, where IS my homeland? I know I left it around here somewhere...no, wait, that's Kleves. Maybe a little more to the east..."

Hmm, I guess geo planning isnt that easy if you are playing spain and has got a bunch of tp's and a couple of hundred level 4-6 colonies. :)

I just automatically put mayors and governors etc in everu province I colonise or conquer, ASAP. That way you never have to go back and look. But I agree some sort of extra symbol like the Manufactory one would be useful; hard to fit in on little provinces like Rhodes though.

As I suggested in another thread, I proposed:

"So, in the ledger, we could see the name of the province, the status of civic and military infrastructures. By this window, we could determine the provinces and infrastructures to develop (by clicking on the type of infrastructure related to a specific province). A "go to" tool could be implemented in this ledger to have the location of a province".

A "goto" button in the ledger would be useful anyway, absent any other modifications.
