Not much I can say, as to its reason. I was playing as Belgium, some time around 1856 when the entire computer froze. I'd noticed the days had been going by slower for a little while (10 years, perhaps) when all of a sudden, the music started skipping and the everything stopped (the picture remained). I meant to ctrl+alt+delete the game, but instictively hit alt+tab for some reason. This worked but when I selected the notepad file in the background (something that is always there and gives me no problems ever) that froze, as did everything else. The only thing I could do was hit the reset button.
