First encounter bug/unknown entity bug game breaking

I first got this when playing online but now its happening in single player this started happing at the end of last week. Unknown entity Encounter bug won't let me press interesting or back out of it then I try restarting my game and It comes back again so I have to start a new game all over again please fix this as soooon as possible

easiest fix is turn off notifications

doesn't matter, it got patched with the update that happened earlier today
