OK, for those of you that are intersted in trying your hand at translation, here is something to get your feet wet with...

Code:
Rearmament initiative

Code:
Partial mobilisation

Code:
Mobilisation [i]or alternatively "Full Mobilisation"[/i]

We need these in French, Italian, Spanish, German, Polish, Portuguese and Russian.

There is a possiblility to insert two user defined languages. How that works, I am not sure, but it is something to keep in the back of your mind. MDow

My German translation would be
- "Wiederbewaffnungsinitiative"
- "Teilmobilmachung"
- "Mobilmachung" or "Generalmobilmachung"

The first one is debatable perhaps, the mobilisation ones are the original military expressions.

Here's polish version:

Rearmament initiative - Inicjatywa przezbrojenia

Partial mobilisation - Częściowa mobilizacja

Mobilisation - Mobilizacja

or alternatively "Full Mobilisation" - Pełna mobilizacja

In French

Initiative de réarmement(I think I can find better)
Mobilisation partielle
Mobilisation générale

Code:
Rearmament initiative

I propose
- Politique de réarmement

Code:
Partial mobilisation

- Mobilisation partielle

Code:
Mobilisation [i]or alternatively "Full Mobilisation"[/i]

- Mobilisation (Mobilisation générale)

Can help with Italian!

Code:
Rearmament initiative
Politica di riarmamento

Code:
Partial mobilisation
Mobilitazione parziale

Code:
Mobilisation [i]or alternatively "Full Mobilisation"[/i]
Mobilitazione (Mobilitazione generale)

OK, here is what I am going to do...

When I get two translators that agree on the "official version" it will be accepted. I don't have enough language skills to make a determination so I will rely on you as experts in your own languages.

Does that sound fair to people? MDow

Funny that such simple things can be translated in so many ways! :p

Everything that has been proposed is good enough really (in Italian at least), but to make your life simpler I will agree with Sariel so you have dual approval there!

(ie. Italian --> Initiziativa di riarmo, mobilitazione parziale, mobilitazione generale)

Hey you're stealing my job! ;)

Sorry, I figured that I needed translations and these nice people were just sitting here...

:D

Rearmament initiative = Iniciativa de rearme
Partial mobilisation = Movilización parcial
Mobilisation or alternatively "Full Mobilisation" = Movilización o Movilización total

Edit: It's Spanish, by the way

(Инцеатива) Перевооружения

Частичноя Мобилизация

Полная Мобилизация

Russian in the same order as requested.

I am pretty sure about the last one, the second one is how the above phrase would translate into Russian (there may be technical military terms which I do not know). The first one I think can do without the part in parenthesis ("initiative") and be simply rearmament.

Correct version
Инициатива к перевооружению - Rearmament initiative. Sounds a bit weird, though
Перевооружение - Rearmament
Частичная мобилизация - Partial mobilisation
Мобилизация/полная мобилизация - Mobilisation/Full Mobilisation

Agree with G'Kar on the Germans ones, the first one is hard tho

Rearmament initiative = die Wiederbewaffnunginitiative / Ein Initiative zur Wiederbewaffnung
Partial mobilisation = die Teilmobilmachung
Mobilisation = Mobilmachung
