I have the 1.09 version
I've tried everythings mentioned in the BBS , but it crashes again.
But i know i'm not the only one with this problem.

Describe the crashes: At what point does EU crash?
At what point does Cossacks crash?
What Resolution are you trying to run in?
Have you installed any hardware since
installing cossacks?

EU does not alter any system files so cannot cause the Cossacks crash. Therefore we are looking for something you have done that is common to both. e/g/ New Video Card etc

I experience frequent crashes as well. I can live with it but it´s pretty damn frustrating.
I´ve got a pretty old machine, K6-2 300, 64 MB RAM on a VIA MVP 3 board and a SB 16 sound card.

This may not account for all my crashes, but it happened lots of times when i accept a peace offer.

Random crashes for both Eu and cossacks , i dont think resolution is a problem , it worked fine before ,btw ive got 256mo 1 month ago ...

Cannot see this being a problem however -

Take out the new Memory Stick and play again with the original Memory. See what happens.
If it still crashes then put it back - its eliminated that.

Download Cacheman from www.outertech.com its a free program that manages your Virtual Memory. It can make a big difference to memory grabbing programs.

What is your Operating System? i.e. Win 95 etc?

How much free space do you have on C: ?
Sometimes a game can crash because there is not enough room for the swapfile, so the program will end with not enough memory.

Thanks Jos - all help is appreciated. Its hard work finding the cause of a problem at long range isnt it? .... now if he would pay my air fare or post his system..........
