CTD after becoming King

Worked from Count of York to King of Ireland from 1066 to 1214. In 1212 I become King of Ireland and now it CTDs in late 1214. I can seem to get past the date a few times, but never by more than a few months. My King is old, but he does have an heir. His first son is a Bastard, but his second is legitimate and he is shown as the successor. Is the game CTD when it's time for the King to die. It gives no warning, does not say he died or anything. Just crashes all the sudden. My save games load fine. Is there a known issue here?

I believe this is one of the many 1.01 CTDs.

I am closing this thread.

Feel free to re-open a new one if you get a reproducible CTD using 1.02 and can provide us a save for investigation.
