Fixing a Dome?

So, a meteor hit my dome. Boo hoo. Says I need 5 polymer to fix. I have that. I have that in a storage right by the dome, with the dome and the polymer in range of my drones. Why won't it fix the dome? All hitting the request maintenance button does is have them do normal maintenance but not fix the fracture. Is there some tech I need? What am I missing here?

It's like pipe damage it gets automatically fixed by drones.

Nevermind, just saw the latest twitch stream and saw that there is a bug where domes can get cracked and they just wont ever get fixed.

I have the same problem, guess we'll have to wait for the next patch.
