flag graphics glitch

Maybe 8/10 times when I load up my VV 2.2, the nation's flags are completely messed up. Some are completely glitchy, others half two nation's flags in one, and so on. I removed everything Rome related on my PC and redownloaded and reinstalled, and the same issue appeared. There are no other graphical glitches to speak of...help

edit; this screenie is from a mod, but the issue appears in vanilla as well, without mods.

Is yours a Steam version? If so try their option to verify the downloaded files, it will see if anything's missing.

Nah, I got it from gamersgate. Interestingly, the messed up flags are the same every time and with different mods, and after reinstalls. Odd.

Try deleting the files only in the /map/cache/ directory.
