I am busy breaking up a few countries into smaller ideologically based ones and I am curious if anyone knows where to find time appropriate party symbols for far left and far right parties from Yugoslavia, Hungary, Croatia, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia & Montenegro.

Lastly, if I find an image that I want to use how do I resize it to be used as an in game graphic?

All of the flags are in ...gfx\map\shields, and the counter backgrounds are in ...gfx/palette. It shouldn't be too complicated.

Now, making the tiny animated flags over sprites is another matter. ^_^

Thanks for the reply. I know where the flag and shield icons are for stuff that is in the game already. What I want to know is if a good source exists for things like the Arrow cross party banner or the symbol used by the Serbian communists during the '30s. Also, if I find such cool stuff how do I change the size of the graphic to use it in the game?

Thanks for the link. It seems that it's a bit shy on the left side of things but it's a nice resource. Thanks again and if you have any idea about resizing a graphic let me know.

For the flags you can simply use wikipedia (it has many flags in differents resolutions), or http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/flags/ this page.

As for the second question, you can use an image editing software like Photoshop or GIMP (but i think Photoshop is a little more simple), but first i think you need a template (and i dont know where to find those )

Saludos

I've heard of photoshop but never used it and GIMP is totally new to me. I suppose this image thing is a little more tricky then then I thought as I don't even know what template is or how to use it.
