I'm mainly thinking about new units to use heavy flails, perhaps in time heroes could obtain them as well. Below some visual concepts for inspiration only:

New unit concept for a Tier IV Mythical, with some stats and a new gold wonder to unlock it in for the RoL:

Abilities & Traits:


Twin-Brained Warfare

Passive — Immune to Flanking. Immune to Confusion and Mind Control. Gains +2 Resistance.


Shield Wall Formation

Active (Cooldown: 2 turns) — Adjacent friendly units gain +2 Defense and cannot be flanked for 1 turn.


Crushing Flail

Melee Attack (Sweep) — 3-hex arc attack, deals 16 Physical damage, has a 50% chance to inflict Daze.


Minotaur Rampage

Passive — Upon losing 50% HP, gains +2 Strength and enters Berserk stance (deals 20% more melee damage, loses 1 Defense).


Stonebound Hooves

Passive — Counts as a Large unit with Improved Stagger Resistance, cannot be Knocked Back.


Mythical Resolve

Passive — Immune to morale penalties. Heals 12 HP per turn in combat when not actively attacking.

  • +20 Gold and +10 Knowledge per turn
  • ⚔️ Grants Twin Discipline — all units produced in this city get +10% Physical Resistance.
