If you have a wall and you want to place a floor there, currently you can't just replace it. You have to remove the wall first. This is a bug, please fix it.

honestly i feel there should be options
flooring that ignores walls and flooring that breaks walls
that way you can drag flooring over all the cells and not tear their walls, allowing for quick flooring in all the rooms AND allowing people who want to demolish walls with flooring can have that

It used to be that if you started placing floors on walls it would replace them and if you would put them on the floor it would not replace walls. But in the current version it does not do that.
yes but i'm saying they should have an option for the current version and the old version
that way you can lazily use the floor tool to cover most of your prison in walls if you want without destroying all your walls and then the option for people who DO want the flooring tool to break walls like it used to
