Is it possible to adjust in-game text/font size?

A grand few minutes of play so far, and already a complaint - or perhaps a wish. :p

I play on a projection system. That means I sit a fair distance from the 'view', and games that don't autoadjust in-game texts/fonts to match screen resolutions are tough on the eyes. The default font for the 'advisor' text is so small I can barely read it if I squint, no matter what resolution I pick. If possible, I'd like those text lines to be as big as the 'pause menu' texts, at the very least. Is there a way to double, if not quadruple, the size of the in-game text lines without breaking the UI? This'd include the Advisor tooltips, the mouseover tooltips and Chirpee's messages, at the very least.

I'd rather not have to use binoculars when playing a game - even when it comes to watching my city and its denizens from afar. :)

I have the same feeling. My laptop is 15" with 1366x768. I have to struggle to read the text. So does my friend who has a 27" screen with 1920x1080.

Although I can just ignore text and only use icon, I still want an option to adjust font size.

*sigh* Another Paradox game, another eye-killing tiny font. At least this one's simple.

I was born with RoP. No glasses or contacts can fix it. Dropping my resolution to 1360x768 makes everything fuzzy and I can't read that either.

Please tell me there will be a way to make the font larger.

I am legally blind, so of course this upset me (this is the fourth time I've paid for a game I couldn't play because of a badly designed inaccessible UI). And before any ignorant people can ask, yes I wear glasses. I am also using a 52" monitor and tried sitting about 6 inches from the screen. I still couldn't read anything. This is not a common problem for me. I have dozens of games that I've been able to play, no problem. I should have known better when I saw it was a Paradox game. I wish I'd bought it in store instead of on Steam so I could ask for my money back. I was really looking forward Cities: Skylines too. I haven't played a good fun city builder in a while. If anybody knows how I might go about boosting the font, please let me know. Thanks. :)

Given that like half the negative reviews on Steam (yes, there are some!) are about this, it should be addressed quickly. Although frankly, it should anyway ...

Another thread on font size merged...

Please people, try to read at least the first visible page for duplicate threads. The post volume is really high and if you keep posting duplicate ideas and issues your post will move many pages in short time.
Maybe the forum needs bigger fonts as well.

Nah, Chrome (and I assume other browsers) can be set up to auto-zoom to a certain percentage. I have mine on 200% on my 1920x1080 21 inch screen... And I use Arial Black. Bold fonts are always nice.

Agree wholeheartedly, can't understand why this wasn't picked up by developers earlier on. Very difficult to read such small text and also the menu items are so small that they are difficult to locate at times- leading to frustration. The size of said elements in SC2013 were maybe just a bit on the large almost intrusive size but somewhere between SC2013 & current skylines size would be greatly appreciated

As a physically disabled gamer, I have to play my games in windowed mode. I play in a 1366 x 768 window to accommodate an on-screen keyboard. Unfortunately, this makes all the text too small for me to see. Add me as another person who would like to be able to adjust the font size in Cities: Skylines.

Ability to increase UI text font size, yes please! (maybe it's already possible via mod or .ini file!?).
There are a lot of "young eyes" out there, but also plenty of older eyes.

I'm not even sure it's "young eyes", I've noticed (at least black text on while back ground) it's slightly blurred, like the text didn't scale correctly for the resolution or something (playing on 1900x1200). Found it to be very odd.

I also hope the problem of the nonadjustable font size is addressed soon. My eyes are old and I don't need to put any more undo stress on them by trying to read the tiny font size in this game.
