Hello,

after long time I finally have some time to play hoi, no more school and stress for me. An ideal time to start new AAR. At first I'd like to apologize to all of you who have followed my Japan one - The Sun rises in Japan, my old PC exploded and I've lost all data including save games. Apart from loosing save games I've also lost motivation as I was tired from school and other IRL things. My apologies for that.

Now, to the point:

Country: Germany - yes, another boring German AAR
Starting date: 1936
Mod: BlackICE 7.54 - I am tempted to wait for BlackICE 8, but we're still waiting for alpha version and it will take at least another month to be playable without any major bugs, 7.54 is however pretty stable.
Difficulty: normal game / normal BlackICE / all nations with exception of China on hardest possible settings (China will be on easiest to give AI Japan a chance)
Style: Gameplay focused - informative, descrptive and exhausting in terms of sheer amount of data, including outcomes of every single battle. Do not expect narration - I suck at narration. I will try to show and explain my actions, why I am doing what I am doing and basics of the mod I am using. War will be started by usual Danzig or war and Barbarossa will launch at 22nd of June 1941, apart from this whole AAR can explode into ahistorical monstrosity.
Updates: I'll try at least once per week. Peactime updates will cover half year period, at war it will of course depend on amount of action and length of update.

I hope you will enjoy this one.

Chapter I
1st - 31st January 1938

CPP2abL.jpg

Opposed to vanilla or other mods, usual BlackICE game typically begins with a lot of decisions and events, perhaps the most important one is in game difficulty setting (decision in the middle) - we will be playing on normal Hearts of Iron difficulty and on normal BlackICE, which gives player some small penalties of which, the most important one is -10% IC efficiency for production.
The event to the right allows us to choose how we will approach recruitment - for the most time the middle option is the right choice.
One of the most important decisions every year is national and espionage focus. Espionage focus allows us to focus our spies into more specific areas of interest like lowering neutrality, tech espionage efficiency increase etc. - we will be using tech espionage for the whole duration of the campaign as it gives us +2% IC efficiency for production. As for national focus - we will be using different ones every year depending on our focus, for the first year, 1936, we will be using Plan Z in order to build our submarine navy which we will use to starve UK when we enter the war. (for those who live in BlackICE part of the forums - yes, my buildup will be inspired by oumajgads guide, but I definitely won't copy all of the stuff he has done).

hb2ZhfD.jpg

BlackICE also allows you to set individual difficulty for all the major nations and also for some minors like Canada, Australia. You can notice that Soviet AI will have 30% more IC efficiency than Germany and they are even buffed with hard and soft attack. On the other hand they will be drowning in resources so if we get our hands on enough money we will have no problems to stockpile our resources on 99,999 before war.
All allied nations also received similar bonuses like Japan, SU and Italy, however China AI did not receive any as Japan sometimes tends to fare badly in China if the Chinese AI have also bonuses.

Iv7USBL.jpg

During 1st day we've changed our laws and switched some ministers, Goebbels became foreign minister - small daily dissent change and increased research efficiency are good bonuses compared to minor decrease in ruling support decrease, which is compensated by our new minister of security, Rudolf Diels, he provides us with bonuses in 4 different areas, all of them pretty good, extra money are always welcome and increased espionage is also welcome. The most important ones are ruling party support and counterespionage - ruling party support is important in BlackICE and other countries often send their own spies to support hostile parties. The most important change was Hjalmar Schacht becoming armament minister and head of intelligence, pretty competent man, as he will provide us 10% IC efficiency for production, effectively removing penalty from BlackICE difficulty setting.
Fritz Bayerlein and von Blomberg are usual nobrainers in vanilla and in almost every mod, giving us increased supply throughput and lowered supply consumption. Last change in cabinet was Ulrich Grauert becoming chief of the air force for bonuses in air organization and in air intercept efficiency.

Ministers weren't only things changed - we've changed also couple of laws, in most cases we've lowered our grip on the country - from totalitarian system we went to repression and we've also restricted the amount of propaganda in the press which gave us another 8% IC efficiency. Usual switch from consumer product orientation to mixed industry also happened. Last change was adapting minimal training in order to increase amount of submarines we can produce during upcoming year, submarine crews will gain enough experience by raiding convoys when the war inevitably starts.

dpQ5uTo.jpg

In the east Japan annexed their puppet state of Manchukuo, which will give them more control over the region as well as some more IC - I usually see Japanese AI doing better in China when Manchukuo is annexed. In Germany we've started improving our rail network system which allowed us to push our IC efficiency even higher. Increase in our rail network was preceded by intensive research and it's implementation will cost us some IC and supplies for about half of a year, but it's worth it. Similar research can also be done for roads, seaports and airfields. All of them also provide decision to further improve them and to provide strategic effect.

9N1f3W6.jpg

BlackICE introdouces scripted invasions which are meant to provide bigger challenge to the player - of course we will be playing with scripted invasions (player is not given option of scripted invasions and he must undertake all of them manually). The other event is government secretary focus - we've sent him to nationalize private sector, secretly hoping for a failure as it will improve peoples opinion of the government and in the end we could use IC on something more useful than consumer goods - this is also what happened and freed IC worth of one submarine flotilla.

Z57jWKo.jpg

On 3rd January, after initial setup has been done, and all flags for BlackICE game engine were set, the game finally begun. First thing we did was spam of the trades to get some money we can use for purchases of rare materials we desperately need and other very interesting things like new strategic resources. Apart from supplies we are also selling fuel, with all those money we could import much more crude oil and we still have plenty of time to refine new fuel for our stockpile before war begins.
So far we won't be importing anything, first we will improve our relations with USA and Soviet Union in order to get discounts and then we will start importing rare materials and crude oil en mass. Smaller purchases of metal will also be likely as we will use a lot of metal for our strategic resources and strategic effects purchases.

PwotVQW.jpg

BlackICE also provides lot of historical events like formation of unique Wehrmacht and SS units, for Wehrmacht we've chosen to build our divisions by ourselves and we were rewarded by +15% more IC. For SS we went with ahistorical full divisions as I don't have patience to deal with changes and reorganizations upgrade events do.

MHEfDVd.jpg

Our internal spies are mostly busy with catching enemy spies (3 pips) and bu increasing NSDAP support (1 pip). We've also sent spies into Austria to increase local support of NSDAP which is common move in order to make Anschluss happen earlier. We're also increasing threat of the Soviet Union to make the World believe we're acting only in our defense and to attract more countries into Axis. The rest of foreign spies have been sent to Italy and Turkey to undertake covert ops which will lower neutrality of those countries. Why we're doing that in Italy is obvious - earlier Italy gets into Axis, earlier we get Pact of Steel strategic effect. Turkey posses chromite, valuable strategic resource which will allow us to boost our IC efficiency even further by another 5%.

26CMflN.jpg

This is our leadership allocation and research priorities. We're investing some leadership in keeping Turkey close to our faction as they're often influenced by other factions and sometimes they're even aligning to a faction by themselves in order to stay neutral. Some leadership is of course invested in spy recruitment to cover loses and rest of leadership is invested mostly in project that will bolster our nation, like increased education investment, broadcasting, monumental architecture and to keep our military techs up to date with other World powers. This year we won't be using any leadership on officer recruitment and any spare LS will be used to increase number of spies we will keep in reserve. Minimal training severely harms our ability to recruit officers as it gives whopping -50% penalty and we're suffering another -50% penalty due to keeping our battle commanders in charge (more on that later).

G6U0Oj3.jpg

During middle of January we've started working on our giant infrastructure project which will provide us another strategic effect and giving us 2% increase in our IC efficiency. There are 5 of giant infrastructure project which first of them you can build once you've selected long term economic boost at the beginning of the year and once you've accumulated sufficient amount of materials. To build another ones you have to research another level of Giant infrastructure projects techs.

I apologize there is no screen of production screen - I swear I did it, but I've probably pressed different hotkey. What's important in BlackICE - start adding things into the queue on 3rd January as it takes 2 days to properly set up the game and if you added something into the queue during the first 2 days may (and will) have incorrect build time and IC cost (much higher).

On 3rd January we've added total of 10 IC into the queue. All of them in provinces with heavy industrial capacity, heavy IC behaves exactly like TRP mod - it increases amount of base IC in that province by 25% per level so a province with 10 IC and 1 heavy IC behaves like a province with 12.5 base IC. We've also added 18 coastal submarines and 96 submarines into the build queue. The coastal subs will be constructed faster than normal ones and will provide us some practicals which will reduce cost and buildtime of normal sumbarines. Last thing we've did in the build queue was canceling construction of one heavy cruiser and 3 destroyers which were there at the start of the game and we've put all planes under construction into the end of the queue.

During January all units were redeployed into Berlin for OOB reorganization and some, mostly flavor units were deleted and provided us a bit of manpower.

Interesting. I like gameplay AARs. I used to play BICE a lot many versions ago. It is a great mod but it is meant for playing as majors. Good luck with your aar!

Thank you for your kind words. I hope I will keep you entertained.

Are you playing with revolts?

Without. Revolts kill all fun for me and there are plenty event based revolts which won't be turned off so I will have some funny times with them.

Chapter II
1st February - 31st December 1936

rd1w30x.jpg

During February we were deciding what to do with old battleship Hannover, in the end we've decided to commission her as her old guns could still be useful when fighting in Baltic and for providing shore bombardment. Hannover also came with one passenger transport flotilla, which we are in dire need so we can ferry our troops to Eastern Prussia and back and currently we don't have technology to produce such vessels.
Other option was to scrap her, but as we are currently drowning in money from all those sales we did at the beginning of the January we can afford to buy all the metal and rares her decommissioning would give us.

HpT2eOf.jpg

On the 7th of February 1936 we've gathered enough covert ops point to begin lowering neutrality of both Turkey and Italy.

FAYTniQ.jpg

At the beginning of March discussion whether to continue with Sino-German cooperation was debated. In the end we came up with conclusion that it would be better to stop and improve our relations with Japan as Empire of Japan would provide us more valuable partner as it goes for fighting on the high seas.
From the gameplay perspective Sino-German cooperation give a strategic effect that lowers our money and supplies and gives rares and metal, which we will have plenty anyway from the purchases on the global market.

5LJUjYn.jpg
5LJUjYn.jpg

On May 17th first submarines of many to come were completed. Organized into fleets of three submarine packs they were deployed to Wilhelmshaven and coastal submarines, which were completed in March were deployed to Bremenshaven alongside two coastal submarine packs we already have, those are organized into five groups of four packs.

6HZENWg.jpg

During late May and later months our first research projects became completed. Of most important ones we've achieved progress in education which increased our total leadership and enabled us to research more sophisticated ways how to improve it even further. We've also achieved small progress in ways how to handle industry which increased our total industrial capacity by 2% and our industrial efficiency by 0.5%. Some progress was also achieved in the military, apart from obvious new weapons, new tanks models for Wehrmacht we've improved our submarine batteries, which will help our submarines crews to stay under water longer and thus decrease probability of enebmy ASW vessels finding them.

qLfQlVZ.jpg

During early June Italians were able to march into streets of Addis Ababa, which was more than national unity of Abyssinia could handle and next they their government surrendered and Abyssinia is now officially Italian colony.

rev7RjO.jpg

During late July 1936 trouble in Spain brewed into national war against Republicans and Nationalists - we've also immediately begun negotiations with Nationalists as last thing we want in Europe is another communist enclave.
Apart from Republicans and Nationalists there were also few rebellions of people which sympathized with neither of them and doesn't want to be part of the conflict.

cCiYHI6.jpg

After days of subtle negotiations with Nationalists we've declared open support of them as we shall break the reds. Apart from conflict in Spain there were other news from the World - in Soviet Union Stalins paranoia overgrew into series of political trials against his, at the most time, fictional enemies. People were accused from cooperating with other World powers and plotting to kill Stalin.
During July, which was month of scientific progress as multiple research projects finished that months, we've increased our knowledge in building monumental buildings and we've immediately to start building Imperial University in Berlin, which gave us another 2 points of leadership and a strategic effect which increases our leadership by 5% and also increases efficiency of our research by 5%. However investing into such big project caused some dissent amongst our population as some objected that our resources could be used in a better way. To compensate this our armies marched into Rhineland which reduced dissent amongst population and in the end we had not to spend any additional consumer goods for reducing dissent.
Last strategic effect (the one with penalties) shows up what you get in BlackICE when popularity of your ruling party is low. However our spies are working on catching enemy spies and on improving NSDAPs popularity so these problems will be hopefully soon overcome.

aQsocEs.jpg

During late august we've achieved technological breakthrough, we're finally able to design our own aircraft carriers, they're however considered obsolete by the measures of naval technology leaders such as Japan or United Kingdom. We will have to work harder on that field and allocate some more leadership into improving our aircraft carriers before we will start production of them, which is estimated to begin in no earlier than in 1940.

QUlCvhO.jpg

In September we've begun with broadcast of small entertainment shows, which will make our population happier so they would even need less of consumer goods - this is a good thing as we can invest more of our industrial capacity into production of much more important things.
We've also produced so much submarines and other naval vessels that our engineers presented us a option to build prefab ship facilities - a strategic building that will increase our naval build speed by 15% when it comes online, the cost for such a big project may seem ridiculously high, but in the long run it will pay back.
As we've reoccupied Rhineland we've held party congress in honor of that and exactly as we've expected it resulted in both increased popularity of our party and reduced dissent amongst our population. One of the questions discussed on the congress was what to do with our imperial university. In the end we've decided it should be used in bolstering of all our research instead of just focusing on one area of research.
You can either choose one specific area of interest for the whole campaign and from time to time an event will fire giving you random progress on random tech from area you've chosen. I find 5% increased research efficiency more reliable so I won't be picking any focus.

vSdvWtq.jpg

After reoccupation of the Rhineland we went in need of additional infantry divisions to guard border with France and we've also put yet another submarine flotilla to use.
Those 4 divisions are event spawned and all brigades in those start with 100 men strength so they have to reinforced before actual combat use, so the price for them seems to be OK to me.

gLrQN0q.jpg

This how our standard infantry divisions looks like. An infantry brigade supported by artillery and anti-tank battalions, artillery will provide soft attacks and anti-tank will provide much needed armor piercing against enemy tanks. Recon cavalry and engineer battalions are attached to help with movement and overcoming terrain penalties. Last brigade in this division is division HQ which is needed to unlock combined arms bonus. Our general infantry division has no real strengths, but on the other hand, is has no real weaknesses, it's suited for balanced combat in almost all environments.

Jn6QLJ6.jpg

During October our spies reported that increasing political tension in Austria led to incredible increase of local NSDAP popularity and people were calling to unite with Germany so we've listened and on 7th October our forces entered Austria and reunited with warm welcome from locals.
Annexation of Austria was not only thing to happen on the 7th of October - with our spies being busy in Italy decreasing neutrality and all recent events in Austria Italy's neutrality dropped low enough to be officialy part of the Axis.

YRKU3lk.jpg

After presentation of our engineers on prefab ship building facilities we've been also presented an option to fund and build dockyard facilities which will help us with organization of our ports and will directly increase efficiency our ports are operating.
After official partnership with Italy was established we've increased our diplomatic influence and proposed anti-comintern pact which was mostly targeted at Japan as we need valuable ally in the East.

Could you please add some screens of Spanish Civil War? I wonder about its balance in last versions.
By the way, you're building both dockyard and prefab shipbuilding facilities. Is there any strategic effect for having both?

Chapter III
entire year 1937

ql9mngg.jpg

We started the year with switching from Plan Z national focus to Luftwaffe, in 1937 we will be mainly building aircraft and recruiting officers so we did adjust our training laws as we went from minimal training to basic training to provide our planes an extra bit of experience and to get rid of 50% penalty to officer recruitment. It's a shame we can't afford higher training laws as we have simply too many planes to build. During first half of the year we've experienced sudden surge in our productivity which we used for yet another giant infrastructure project, by continuous improvements to our agricultural industry we were able to decrease amount of men need on the farms.

490z7B1.jpg

At the end of previous year we've already started to put some planes into production queue to slowly increase amount of our aircraft practicals, we've started with some planes to be added to our existing planes to complete them into standardized size of air wings. Every bomber wing will be consisted of four bomber groups and every fighter-bomber wing, which will be used for air superiority and intercept missions as we're researching fighter-bomber to interceptor conversion tech which will provide them additional air attack compensated with decrease of their hard and soft attack.
During first month we will be completing our leftover submarines and after they're finished we'll keep six submarine packs in our production queue, as for planes we will use following pattern to determine our production: 12 fighter-bombers followed by either 12 light bombers or 12 naval bombers, then again another 12 fighter bombers.

mcNDI46.jpg

These are our research projects for 1937, we'll be surely researching yet another tech which will be unlocked by completing these, fine example is heavy armor as to even research it we need to complete e.g. medium armor research. As research will progress and less leadership will be needed for research any spare leadership will be redirected into officer recruitment as our officer ratio is currently bellow 90%.

6yInjMe.jpg

At the beginning of February our ruling party support has increased and we've enjoyed increased leadership which came with it, additionally it may also helped to attract foreign soldiers which wanted to join ranks for Wehrmacht or SS, directly increasing amount of our available manpower.

K9FEOLu.jpg

First half of the year was calm, apart from increasing tensions in Asia which resulted in incident at Marco Polo bridge, which was the boiling point of new conflict in the World - 2nd Sino-Japanese war officially begun on 1st July. As Japans neutrality suddenly dropped, we've used this to invite them into Axis so they no longer have to face effects of neutrality which was giving them IIRC 15% penalty to IC efficiency alongside with other penalties.

7QN4iOs.jpg

During September we've held yet another Party Congress which we held in Cathedral of light, which was followed by series of internal meetings in November resulting in Hossbach Memorandum - our ruling party internal organization came stronger from both of those events.
During the party congress we've also opened our first of many to come SS officer schools, which will increase amount of officers we can educate as we're still lacking them. However creating of SS officer schools wasn't accepted as we'd like and we will have to increase amount of consumer goods to reduce dissent coming from some fools claiming we're giving too much power to Himmler.

xp8PUva.jpg

During September things in Spain got into much higher pace than before as Nationalist are pushing hard and Republican controlled territory shrinked just into four small enclaves with most resistance around Barcelona and Bilbao.
This does not mean Nationalists have won the war as I've seen them to turn even this desperate situation in some games.

7UkxR6H.jpg

In early October due to our long term covert operations in Turkey and our spies increasing threat of Soviet Union, Turkeys neutrality dropped low enough to be invited into Axis and they gratefully provides us chromite - strategic resource which will increase our IC efficiency by 5%.
As for our spies in Soviet Union - they were tasked by increasing our party popularity in Soviet Union to further induce Stalins paranoia and to get him less support amongst citizens - this will hopefully cause communist party popularity to drop and hurt their leadership.

C9i5oEI.jpg

At the end of the year we have only six unfinished research projects. Rest of leadership is allocated into research and we no longer have to spend two points of leadership in influencing Turkey. As result of this our officer ratio went to 131% but our army organization allows to utilize it only to 110%. We also have plenty of spies prepared which we trained last year so 1938 can be year of scientific progress.

PQJbnbn.jpg

CUtem9v.jpg

Dzc6EO8.jpg

We have over 100 submarine packs prepared for the war to begin and Luftwaffe is also starting to be in very decent state. However it's Heer who's struggling and two following years will be mostly about building additional ground units.

mAaAMOD.jpg

Japanese managed to snag Beijing and Tianjin for themselves and advanced a bit into Shanxi, however we expected their progress to be faster and if something does not happen during 1938 we are worried for Japanese and their campaign in China.

Could you please add some screens of Spanish Civil War? I wonder about its balance in last versions.
By the way, you're building both dockyard and prefab shipbuilding facilities. Is there any strategic effect for having both?
I've added one screen of SCW and I'll add status on 1st January 1938 as I've forgot to take some during 1937.
Yes there's a strategic effect for having both dockyard and prefab shipbuilding facilities, I'll show it during next update.

Chapter IV
entire year 1938

6Jr8l8z.jpg

We've started 1938 by switching our focus from Luftwaffe, which now have plenty of planes to fly, to land focus, more oriented on building armor. To support this we've decided that we won't be investing in any giant infrastructure project and we will use our burst in productivity to increase our industrial capacity a bit.

DkW9lrH.jpg

On 1st January we've also presented to the World conclusion of negotiations which took place in Munich after Christmas 1937. We've been granted chunk of Czechoslovakia, including their most fortified parts so in case of eventual attack on Czechoslovakia we don't be forced to attack their fortified lines. This of course caused some dissent in the Fatherland, which was countered by releasing increased amount of consumer goods, but we've also gained some manpower from all those Sudeten volunteers.

PfbGwfq.jpg

1938 will be year of technological advance as we have nearly two times more projects than our leadership is to complete. Any spare leadership will be used to train our officers as with all the upcoming recruitment we will need much more officers.

q94T7co.jpg

We're still building some industrial capacity in some of our biggest industrial cities. Than we are building some planes and submarines to keep our practicals high and to keep up with eventual loses. To train our army we've switched to minimal training as we simply don't have enough time to train all those forces we'd like to have when the war inevitably begins. Right now we're building some motorized and light infantry divisions. We've also bought knowledge and assistance from Japanese and we're building 10 brigades of Kwantung infantry which will be used for our Festung divisions as they're useful for taking such fortified places like Maginot line, Gibraltar and Russian fortified cities.

AYJlXBa.jpg

In the middle of January we were stricken by Blomberg-Fritsch affair. We've decided to let them stay as we need every capable officer and we don't like increasing influence of SS at the expense of Wehrmacht.

5dlMeo9.jpg

Although Republicans in Bilbao surrendered their two southern enclaves managed to unite and push back Nationalists, which are pushing to Barcelona a bit.

u2UVuSG.jpg

During first half of the year our new shipbuilding and dockyard facility became online giving us increases in shipbuilding speed and naval base efficiency. By having both of those facilities by ourselves we've realized that we now belong amongst naval builders which boosted more of our navy and our shipbuilding workers.
We are also continuously investing into improving our airbases as with such high numbers of planes in Luftwaffe service we're beginning to have problems where to operate them from.

5NncF2k.jpg

As Republicans are pushing Nationalists back we've decided to send some resources and volunteers to help Nationalists.

E3FqHav.jpg

Pleasant news are coming from Sino-Japanese war as Japanese are finally able to mount an offensive and they start pushing into China.

oYburLf.jpg

Period of school holidays during middle of the year was filled with opening new movie studio and improvement of our radio entertainment shows. Both of those resulted in decreased demand for consumer goods. During summer we've also held series of military parades, air parades and fleet exhibitions, which were visited by foreign representatives which bolstered confidence of our military forces.

hVzAJdO.jpg

During September we've held another party Congress which was sign of many things to come.

gYzuYQY.jpg

3rd October our armies marched into Czechoslovakia, which was abandoned by their allies. With no resistance from the locals we were able to annex whole state without even single bullet shot. To keep our image of civilized state in the World we've decided to grant Hungary piece of Slovakia and we've made Slovakia our puppet. In exchange for piece of Slovakia Hungary became official member of Axis. Allies were however shocked by our annexation of Czechoslovakia and guaranteed independence of Poland on which we have some disputed claims.
Apart from obvious increase of our industrial capacity we've also confiscated whole Czech automotive industry which was immediately modified to produce tanks and as we're now in control of other important strategic goods like aluminum or ballbearing plants we're now World industry leader which boosted our monetary income and our production efficiency.

With Czech automotive industry in our control our land forces consisted of following at the end of 1938:
39 infantry divisions (starting and event given)
1 mountaineer division
6 light armor divisions which were created by splitting 3 light armor divisions which Germany have in 1936 OOB
2 1936 OOB semi-motorized divisions
20 light infantry divisions
20 armor divisions
20 motorized divisions
10 fortress buster divisions, which can be used as HARM divisions when not attacking forts

During first 9 months of 1939 we expect to build following:
30 light infantry divisions
50 rocket artillery brigade attachments for our light infantry divisions
30 motorized divisions
10 assault guns brigade attachments for fortress buster divisions

Detailed division setups will be part of next update.

Building that many fortress busters this early seems a bit weird. There might be like 5 places in Europe where you can actually need them.

They're basically HARM divisions outside of being fortress buster ones and trust me that HARM is useful ;)

I plan more or less going historical with few differences - I'll try to conquer all of German controlled territories faster (by the middle of 1940) so I can squeeze more IC from them and in the free time in 1940 and before Barbarossa I'll do operation Tannenbaum and I'll also try to close Med.

Chapter V
1st January - 31st August 1939

0L1Ielc.jpg

Like in previous year we've started year with redirecting our surplus production into increased amount of IC, this time however we've opted to go with more land oriented focus instead of panzer focus as we've already built majority of our panzer forces. During early January we've also finished equipping Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler with latest equipment and we have yet another division which we can throw at the front. However battle commander Josef Dietrich will be redeployed to one of our heavy armor/fortress buster divisions as he will be much more useful there.

AheLTEE.jpg

Research projects for 1939, we have plenty of unfinished ones from year 1938, most of them are naval researches which are not important at the moment and will be postponed until we finish more important ones and train more officers. Leadership budget for research will be soon lowered in half in order to recruit more officers as we expect many divisions to complete their training in following months and our officer ratio will drop.

33t8xhs.jpg

We've building mostly mobile forces as you can count our light infantry divisions as mobile units as they're just 1 km/s slower than our tanks and with right research they'll be able to move at pace of 5 km/h. Another motorized army is expected to finish in late 1939 so we'll three armies of them!

uq1YzyI.jpg

Unpleasant news are coming from Spain, Republicans have retaken almost half of the country after they've been reduced only to two pockets of resistance before few months. More pleasant news are coming from Italy, King Zog have accepted Italian ultimatum and Albania is now officially part of Italy.

ObKyfHi.jpg
